@AngryCops what are your thoughts on Netflix charging extra or banning you from Netflix if you can't login from home every 31 days? No more Netflix after month 2 of your deployment!
Thanks Nine Inch Nails for spending 2,877 minutes with me in 2022. I couldnโt stop listening to Adrift & At Peace. #SpotifyWrappedโฏโฏโฏ https://t.co/k7pQNKsZDh
Canadians are deeply disturbed and saddened by the attack on democracy in the United States, our closest ally and neighbour. Violence will never succeed in overruling the will of the people. Democracy in the US must be upheld - and it will be.
So when did "I was just following orders" to justify illegal/immoral acts come back into fashion? I am legitimately curious. I thought the world understood that wouldn't cut it back in 1946? Did I miss something?
@Brett_CBC I can't believe it is the Liberal Party of Canada who is causing me to have to vote Conservative next election. I don't like the Conservative Party, but I do like the developments in firearms over the past hundred+ years. Next they'll ban cased ammunition. Welcome to the 1850's!
Ok, so we're banning a class of firearms, not typically used for criminal activity. How is this going to make Canadians safer? Should police give up their automatic weapons? They shouldn't need them now. Also, police should have same rules for transporting arms #Equality
#cdnpoli so now that Canadians can't even have repeating rifles, why do Canadian police still need machine guns? Can Canadian police now follow civilian pistol transportation rules? Police are civilians after all.
I voted liberal last election, not for a black rifle ban, but because the alternatives were terrible. This ban on things instead of holding people accountable for their actions will be enough for me to vote differntly. I don't want to vote blue, but I also want a modern rifle.
Firearms are designed to fire a projectile, we call this projectile a bullet. People kill people. This assault weapon ban doesn't ban a single assault weapon. Were automatic weapons ever legal for Canadian civilians outside of law enforcement? Will the police also ditch the C7?
Heaven forbid we hold people responsible for their actions. I guess it is easier to blame inanimate objects instead. It's just also sort of crazy, isnt it? I am so confused by this.
They're not going to ban rifles used for hunting or pest control. How are they going to figure out which guns aren't capable of being pointed at humans? When did this tech come out? Sounds advanced!
Assault weapons were always designated as such because of their automatic capabilities. Since Canada has never allowed fully automatic firearms, I dont understand why ban them now?
