9 July 1874 | Jewish woman, Dwora Stein, was born in Nyíregyháza (then in Austro-Hungary). She emigrated to Vienna and then to Antwerp.

She was deported to #Auschwitz from Kazerne Dossin in Mechelen on 18 August 1942. She was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.

9 July 1924 | Polish Jew Chaim Hersch Litwok was born. A tailor.

In #Auschwitz from 22 October 1941.

He perished in the camp on 3 November 1941.

9 July 1937 | A French Jewish girl, Rosette Garbarz, was born in Paris.

In August 1942 she was deported to #Auschwitz and after the selection murdered in a gas chamber.

9 July 1926 | A Czech Jew, Hanuš Raudnický, was born in Prague.

He was deported to #Auschwitz from #Theresienstadt Ghetto on 28 September 1944. He did not survive.
