A missing piece of family history made its way home yesterday after an incredibly kind Hereford Times reader got in touch following my review of STEAM, Swindon... And now we have the complete mystery of how it left my grandparents' home to be sold at auction to solve!
@M_Steeples@SteepleTimes@herefordtimes Hi Matthew. I am afraid I genuinely did not see your tweet. I live in Bromyard and someone here mentioned to me that it was on the auction site. All that was used in my story was info from the site/listed buildings. Not your story.
@Luthien790 It is a huge expense. It doesn't matter that other numbers are even bigger. Perhaps by such things being reported, it might encourage other ways of doing it in a more cost-efficient manner to be explored.
Re-watching old #MasterChef and I have two questions.
1. Why is everyone in advertising or business a "hotshot"?
2. Why are none of the women "hotshots"
#HerefordBullTrail 2024 DONE with some of the lovely @herefordtimes team. Visited plenty of #Hereford pubs I've not been in since I was in my teens, and discovered some new favourites... Fully recommend!
Some seriously skilled piloting in #Gythio, #Peloponnese taking on water and flying off over the mountains. Looks like #wildfires somewhere in #Greece today...
History was made today in #Herefordshire in the #GeneralElection2024 with the #GreenParty candidate Ellie Chowns taking a 'safe' Tory seat... and this is how I believe she did it https://t.co/gHgODS7GZW
We have finally had a communication from the #Conservatives in #NorthHerefordshire. Bill Wiggin himself on the doorstep, no less. Not too sure about what came through the door though... A cynic might argue it looks a little similar to another publication in this county ๐ค
It would appear that only one party is interested in my vote this #generalelectionuk... I have received a deluge of communications from the #Greens but not a bean from anyone else! Where are you all, #Herefordshire candidates?
It's really #foggy in #Herefordshire today... So it is really alarming that, on several occasions on my drive in to work this morning, I had no idea there was anyone in front of me until they braked. PLEASE USE YOUR LIGHTS!
