Florida is very safe, criminals know they might face opposition.

@hokkori_buzz Japan is fortunate in being largely mono-cultural. The US is divided into many races, cultures and political sides. All real facts we have to deal with. Too often those segments become violent and the other side must defend itself.

The lawful gun owners are very law-abiding.

It gets very cold in most of the US and people bundle up for the freezing temps. Companies excessively heat their buildings, roasting the people dressed for the weather.

Thankfully in my Florida, I wear shorts and t-shirts 355 days of the year!
