Love it or hate it, Boston has the MBTA to get us around. Being America's First Subway, it’s steeped in history. **Not affiliated w/ the MBTA.** IG:CharlieOnMTA
@Landoncalling19@asergaottie@MegEBrock You have 124 followers. Whats your point? The more followers someone has correlates to intelligence or something? There’s no shitty take in that statement. Just facts. Something a lot of people in this country confuse as opinion now.
Attended an awesome author talk with @WardMaps Steven Beaucher of his book “Boston in Transit” at the State House Library yesterday. Amazing book with great images and information. A must buy!! #Boston#MBTA#author
I’ve been quiet for a while, but I moved to Quincy last month. That prompted me to finally try to “digitize” (GoPro pointed at the wall) this old #8mm from opening day of the Braintree extension. Once I crop it, I’ll post on YouTube and share the link. #Boston#MBTA#Braintree
@adamxii I listened to your last broadcast on WBCN, WFNX, RadioBDC and now your last broadcast here on Rock 92.9. You’ve been a constant to pretty much all the stations I’ve listened to over the last 18 or so years. I wish you luck and maybe I’ll hear you again somewhere.
I love how my redline train (1634) has the heat on (or maybe the AC just isn’t on). Either way, it feels great to walk into a sauna train during this heat. Not even one stop and I’m visibly sweating.
20 minute delays because of a disabled train at Broadway. Feels good to have the red line back to normal after the shuttles of the past 2 weeks of this section.
@MBTA Will my monthly CharlieCard (not ticket) work on Zone 1A? It sounds like it doesn’t, but the monthly ticket will and that doesn’t make sense. I want to take the commuter rail near me at Uphams Corner during this shutdown like the last shutdown.
Did you know that streetcars used to run down Blue Hill Ave? #onthisday in 1926, a city photographer snapped this image of a Blue Hill Ave streetcar at Waverly Street. https://t.co/LgaI8FBXaR
