Hope this series does for water what the Post Office drama did for Horizon victims.
The scandal of privatised water is even bigger because it affects everyone.
The common theme is clear: powerful corporate entities are exploiting us all.
Time to bring water back into public ownership.
"Channel 4’s Dirty Business is a clarion call to nationalise the water industry."
And that is the bit that terrorises government, the ostrich like refusal to deal with reality, the abused victim, Stockholm syndrome like obsession with not doing anything that might upset the bond markets, the inability to face up to the truth it's time we take the water industry back into public ownership.

Anybody heard from govt this morning? Anybody heard from this regulators this morning? Anybody heard from a water company this morning? Anybody heard from the industry this morning?
Of course not.
Enough of the bullshit, enough of the rhetoric, enough of the fiddling around the edges, enough of rearranging the deckchairs, enough of pointless commissions and even more pointless reports, enough of the lying, enough of the deceit, enough of the gaslighting, enough of the masquerade, enough of the pretending it's time for govt to get a grip, to show leadership, to show determination, to do the right thing, to act.
It's time to put the water industry back into public ownership and the time to do that is now.
But have they got the balls?!
Question. Are there any pubs left that only serve booze, crisps, peanuts, pork scratchings and pickled eggs? Or are all pubs restaurants with a bar? #pubs#Labour#ban#tax. I haven’t been into any kind of pub for many years.
"It's Farage at his absolute weakest - thin-skinned, easy to offend, and nurturing a persecution complex."
Farage's outburst at the BBC over antisemitism claims is "deeply watchable in a '𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨?' kind of way."
@jonsopel | @lewis_goodall
Farage crashes the fuck out as serious allegations persist. This is who he really is. Thin skinned, dismissive, weak. Lashing out at the broadcasters (who have incessantly platformed him) in a futile attempt to downplay heinous allegations of racism and antisemitism. Vile prick.
Not me having my own #Glastonbury time at home! Bob Vylan ruining BBC plan not to cover Kneecap support for Palestine 🇵🇸 I’m here for the Zionist meltdown of everyone chanting Death Death To The IDF - murderous genocidal baby killing trash✊🏾 #FreePalestine
Alex Philips and her kind rant about integration but send their kids to private schools and avoid working class people and areas. Maybe we should force the rich middle class to move into run down areas and pay for the poor to live in Belgravia. #PoliticsLive
This EU reset underlines the key difference between @keir_starmer and the Faragistas: he can operate pragmatically in the national interest and defence of British values in a way that they can’t. https://t.co/eS8SOhEXCO
🚨BREAKING: Several injuries, mostly children, have arrived at medical facilities following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a group of civilians near Hamad City Junction, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
@Keir_Starmer Does the same go for British ‘ex-pats’?
What would you make of it if say the Spanish enacted the same policy to Brits?
Pathetic pandering that will get you nowhere.
I live in Brent, London. My amazing multicultural community are my friends and neighbours. I have more in common with them all than the racists who are promoting hate and taking over our politics. Shame on Starmer and his dog whistle racism.
The Prime Minister imitating Enoch Powell’s ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech is sickening.
That speech fuelled decades of racism and division. Echoing it today is a disgrace. It adds to anti-migrant rhetoric that puts lives at risk.
Shame on you, Keir Starmer.
@Keir_Starmer "squalid chapter," "island of strangers," dog whistle racism. Appalling. Expecting labour voters to hold their noses and vote for Reform/Tory light to stop the real thing? You're finished.
I’m grandson of an Irish migrant, living in one of the most diverse communities in the country. We get along together pretty well with every section of the community making its contribution. Talk of an “island of strangers” shockingly echoes the divisive language of Enoch Powell
#VE80#VEDay80 When I was a young it was to remember the day when the killing, dying and destruction stopped in Europe. It was not about flag waving. Now Fascism is back and Trump and Reform voters are getting misty eyed about #VE80 it’s off the scale terrifying irony!

This photo of a starving Palestinian child looking at her previous self should be seared into the public consciousness of the world.
This is what they're doing in Palestine. And the West is complicit.
