@BerkshireGirl71 @RealHousewifeMi @GOP Ouch, that is high. What really irks me here is that I live 6 miles from an area served by a Rural Electric Membership Cooperative. Their base rate is less than 10 cents/kwh. The REMC buys their electricity from my supplier.

@BerkshireGirl71 @RealHousewifeMi @GOP Could I ask what your electric rate is per kwh? Mine was $.245/kwh last month in northern Indiana. I'm pretty sure we already had the highest rate in the Midwest BEFORE the utility company was granted another 16.6% increase in July.
