Pathetic!
If it were me.
I would withdraw all federal aid from cities with such statistics. I won’t use American taxpayer dollars to support cities that can’t control the violence plaguing them.
Voters and local governments would have to demonstrate significant change before any taxpayer money is spent to provide aid.
@SecRubio I’ll say it again Rubio/Vance ticket.
Rubio is far more seasoned than J.D.
Eight years under Rubio and J.D. will be the man with two great mentors under his belt.
By then with his experience, he’ll be a force to be reckoned with.
To all you celebrities who made your millions off the backs of those who watched your shows and bought your tickets.
The ones you say you care about, because without our monetary support, you're nothing.
And to the haters of America and President Trump. Our 250th anniversary isn't about President Trump, Republicans, or Democrats.
It's about this nation. What we were and who we are now! We will never see another 250th anniversary, and this moment in time should live joyously in all of us blessed to see and tell about it!
We should all cherish the fact that here in America you can protest peacefully, speak your mind, cast a vote, have a say in tomorrow, and be the power of the government that represents your dreams. Because in most countries, those rights are only a dream!
If you wave the flag of the country you fled to be here, then the spirit of America is lost on you.
This country is all about "allegiance," an allegiance we all pledged not just to a flag but to the dream of this country, since we were children. Waving the flag of the country you fled is very possibly the very reason why you fled in the first place. And if America ends, so does your sojourn and any hope for something better.
And for all those rich celebs. I have nothing against your wealth, but when the President of the country (no matter who he is) who made you wealthy asks for your participation in its celebration, and instead you make some lame attempt to make an ugly, hollow stand against him, somehow you must feel your personal feelings are somehow larger than the country and the people in it who made you who you are today!
Know that you're the worst kind of American citizen there is. You're the piece of dog crap that we sidestep on our walks because whoever handled you when you were nothing forgot to teach you something and left that shit for the rest of us.
You don't wave the flag of another country. You wave a flag of deception, self-importance, and hate.
You're the infection that feeds the sickness that has infected our country and has sickened us all.
And in a country born of God, I may not see it, but I know he holds the cure for the afflictions you support. And through GOD this country will survive!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!! 🥰😘
@KeithMalinak A little far away for me, but I'm bettin' you'll do your part to keep it alive, Keith. Don't stop reminding us what's out there.
HAPPY 4th Keith
@FoxNews Turn your thermostats up to 78 and bask in the heat while you enjoy the rhetoric and racism from possibly the most racist mayor ever elected in New York, by some of the dumbest voters this side of the Atlantic Ocean!
Here's my problem with the "Supreme Court".
The 14th Amendment was proposed in 1866 and ratified in 1868—right after slavery was abolished in 1865. Its primary purpose was to overturn Dred Scott and guarantee citizenship to formerly enslaved people who had been denied basic rights.
This was the context of the Reconstruction period—not modern foreign immigration debates. Lawmakers at that time were focused on ensuring freed slaves were recognized as full citizens, not creating a blanket rule for anyone born on U.S. soil regardless of their parents’ status (which wasn't an issue at that time).
Even during the political debates at the time, phrases like “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” mattered. They weren’t meaningless—they reflected an understanding that citizenship required full allegiance to the United States, not just physical presence. And certainly not waving the flag of a foreign nation.
So when people argue that birthright citizenship automatically applies to all children born here today, it’s worth asking: does that interpretation reflect the original purpose of the 14th Amendment—or does it stretch it beyond what its framers were actually trying to solve during their time?
This is why I have always said that our justices, as well as we the people who ultimately vote them into power, must interpret the Constitution carefully—and why voters as well as Supreme Court Justices must apply common sense when we make decisions.
The Constitution is a remarkable document, but its strength depends on understanding it historically and why it was applied. When interpretation is driven by assumptions rather than historical context, and by Justices with preconceived notions, even the strongest principles can be stretched beyond recognition. -Enter Common Sense!
If you look at when and why these provisions were written, it becomes overwhelmingly clear they were responding to specific injustices at a specific moment in history. Common sense suggests it was not intended as a blanket rule for anyone who simply arrives and gives birth on U.S. soil. Rather, it was designed to correct a grave wrong and to ensure that those who had been denied their humanity—and their children—would finally be recognized as full citizens. And no longer as insurable merchandise! Today, we don't view people as a commodity. So we no longer have to give them the humanity we denied them. Today we have laws that govern OUR PEOPLE and those who wish to become part of our country. During 1865 - 1868, we wrote amendments to correct our errors. We used common sense to solve that day's problem.
We should use it again!
Nothing screams TRUE SOCIALIST like:
-A millionaire who owns 3 homes
-Arriving in a huge SUV
-To his private jet
-To fly out and give a paid speech
-On the evils of capitalism and fossil fuels
Am I right?
Our Constitution grants rights to these expansionists eager to exploit them. The march you see is at the very heart of it!
We need representatives who truly stand for the America the Constitution was meant to serve. For goodness’ sake, balance the Constitution with common sense! When you see it being misused, take action.
The KKK once marched for hate, and now we see similar troubling patterns. Ask yourself, is this really what our founding fathers and God intended?
AMEN!
Republicans are worse because they watch the corruption, lawlessness, and dismantling of this country, and as you said, they sit on their hands and do nothing to put a stop to it.
Which makes me believe they are every bit as corrupt as the Democrats. They hear the people cry out for the "SAVE ACT," and yet they refuse to act and do what is necessary to represent the people who sent them there!
@WHLeavitt Agreed!
But we also have to stop voting for these a$$holes!
I'm afraid that even if we get them out, there are enough dumba$$es in this country to put another one back in!
