Ruto, your time is up. Your term is over as of Tuesday. Article 134 says you’re a temporary president. Your term has not been extended. IEBC must conduct elections within 60 days after August 11, 2026.
Trial and error has become the governing philosophy of this administration. University funding has collapsed after billions were wasted. The Hustler Fund has accumulated Sh32.5 billion in defaults. The rollout of the Social Health Authority has faced repeated disruptions, leaving many patients uncertain about access to care. Promised affordable housing has struggled to meet expectations for many Kenyans, while the cost of living remains painfully high. Public debt continues to grow, taxes keep increasing, and unemployment remains stubbornly high. Human rights have deteriorated, with abductions, killings, and impunity becoming disturbingly commonplace.
They experiment with our future. They revise. They delay. They shelve failed policies. Then they return with "fresh promises" as though yesterday's failures have been erased.
A nation is not a laboratory, and Kenyans are not subjects in a perpetual trial-and-error experiment.
Never avoid that uncomfortable confrontation to solve an issue or something that's disturbing you. You'd rather have the conversation than to live bitterly without addressing it.
This evening, I hosted Hon. Mohammed Ali, MP for Nyali, at the SKM Command Centre for candid talks on where our national politics stand and the way forward for the Coast as we head into the campaign year.
We are not only working hard, but smart. Together, we remain committed to a united, prosperous Kenya.

It's exactly 34 days since our Mlima son Ndindi Nyoro requested Kenya's to give him 21 days maximum to decide his political direction that is WANTAM or TUTAM.
Rigathi Gachagua has correctly informed us that a majority of public officers, including those serving within our national security architecture are against this administration.
Public officers have had a front row seat to how this administration operates. They have witnessed the recklessness of those in authority, the unprecedented misuse of power, the disregard for professional and technical advice and the discrimination that has crept into public service. We have not even begun to talk about what has happened to their payslips and overall welfare.
When the very people tasked with implementing government policy lose confidence in those giving the orders, it is not difficult to understand why many would quietly resist from within, sabotage certain processes, leak information including the president’s speech and have no desire to see this administration secure another term to continue on the same path.
Nine years since the brutal murder of our @IEBCKenya colleague Chris Msando.
No justice. No accountability.
Just the stubborn hope that those who sanctioned his murder will be held to account. Soon.
Today, President William Ruto’s main critics are his former ardent advisors and supporters whilst his diehard defenders are his former sworn enemies. It cannot be that Prof Njuguna Ndung’u is dishonest and unwise and that Peter Kaluma is forthright and a genius. Evidently, the President has lost the People.
" President William Ruto overruns all the institutions and that is why everybody in those institutions will have to conform, for fear" - Former National Treasury CS, Prof. Njuguna Ndung'u
Almost every Kenyan now knows a relative, friend or former colleague who once lived comfortably, paid bills without begging and supported others, but has now been reduced to borrowing for food, rent and school fees.
Where exactly is this “investor confidence” Ruto keeps talking about when ordinary businesses are dying, incomes are collapsing and formerly stable families are becoming desperate?
The only people enjoying this economy are Ruto, his friends and those feeding from government deals. Everyone else is being told to celebrate figures that have no relationship with the suffering on the ground.

Octopizzo really produced a song called June 25th in respect to the Gen Zs we lost in 2024 and then went ahead to host the kid of the guy who ordered their killings.
Absolutely disgusting.
