Det går knappt en dag utan nya skandaler i Vänsterpartiet. På Förintelsens minnesdag valde partiets kommunpolitiker Erica Grönesjö Kiesbye att uppmana till våld mot politiska meningsmotståndare genom att skriva att man borde ”skära av pungkulorna på män som röstar höger”.

Att på just denna dag trivialisera Förintelsen genom att normalisera politiskt våld är djupt respektlöst.

Men det stannar inte där. Uttalandet är både sexistiskt och antidemokratiskt: ett hot om könsstympning riktat mot människor enbart för deras politiska åsikter.

Det är exakt den sorts avhumanisering som hör hemma i extremistiska miljöer — inte i ett riksdagsparti.

Detta är ett uttryck för partiets kultur. Och snart kan detta gäng sitta i regeringen.

Det är därför valet måste handla om en sak: demokrati eller extremism.
