A lawyer who visited Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the Gaza Strip, who is detained in Israel, said that he saw severe bruises on his body, on his head, around his eyes, on his ears and neck, to the extent that it was difficult for him to recognize him.
According to the lawyer, Abu Safiya suffered from difficulty breathing, speaking continuously, and sitting without falling, and it was also difficult for him to express himself for fear of abuse.
The lawyer said that Abu Safiya stated that he suffers from daily violence and beatings during his isolation in the "Rakevet" section.
According to him, he lost consciousness several times. In each of these cases, a paramedic would arrive, give him a painkiller and water, and then he would be beaten again.
According to the lawyer, Abu Safiya expressed "real fear that this visit might be the last before they kill him."

Protets have ignited in the city of Mukalla in Hadhramaut Governorate.

Protesters are blocking main streets and burning tires to denounce power outages, shortages of petroleum products and household gas, deteriorating services, the suspension of salary payments, skyrocketing prices, and the collapse of living and economic conditions.

They chant slogans against Saudi Arabia and the pro-Saudi government

🔴🟡Members of the Lebanese Civil Defense in the Rmeish center provided first aid to a wounded resistance fighter who had arrived in Ain Ebel from Bint Jbeil, before contacting the Lebanese Red Cross in Rmeish to transfer him to the liberated area.

Israeli occupation forces stationed in Dibil learned of the resistance fighter's whereabouts and demanded in a phone call to the paramedics that he be handed over, threatening to bomb the ambulance. The paramedics refused.

The resistance fighter then decided to walk to Dibil to surrender himself, out of concern for the lives of the paramedics and the residents of the area, given the low-altitude flights of armed drones.

Abducting a wounded soldier, or a soldier who is no longer fighting (hors de combat), is a violation of international law and a war crime.
