There's an unspeakable anxiety that comes with bringing forth Black life in a world that takes Black lives with such impunity.

New York's serology studies have actually found slightly *lower* rates of COVID-19 among healthcare workers than in the general population. Suggests that PPE and masks help a lot!
PPE is personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, gowns, etc.) and is key to our fight against COVID19. I've been volunteering to support https://t.co/8yu0ELiwTq - check it out to submit PPE requests, find out where to donate PPE, and how to make PPE!! #GetUsPPE
So far I have heard that Harvard, Cornell, Penn, Columbia, GW, and OHSU have balanced the risks and benefits and suspended clerkships for the time being. I believe we must follow their example.
I have been in multiple clinical settings where patients have tested positive (though I have not knowingly had direct patient contact). I know that many patients have not been able to get tests, despite physicians advocating for them.
