To an ADHD brain, the passing of time feels like nothing.
We have to become time detectives, always searching for relevant context clues.
But we never truly feel the seconds, minutes, or even hours as they pass.
@chronicnotebook Try a huge cup of hot cocoa before bed. I did that last night and for the first time in MONTHS I woke up less stiff and only slightly sore...I hope it wasn't a coincidence. I'm about to make some now 🤞 for tomorrow morning!
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but ADHD does NOT mean you are hyperactive.
Some ADHDers are hyperactive, but there’s a whole other presentation of ADHD called Predominantly Inattentive, which is more common in women and doesn’t look hyperactive at all.
Well I had never heard of this before. I always thought adhd was a hyper person unable to focus on one thing. And that autism was more to do with the perceived unsociable traits. Now I'm more confused than ever

I was recently asked what would happen if I used the same equipment I shot planets with to shoot our moon.

Autistic people’s relationships are often circumstantial. E.g: my uni friendships ceased when uni finished, and when I leave jobs, I don’t keep in touch with colleagues. There’s no fallout or ghosting; the relationships simply come to a natural end because the circumstances have.
@AutisticCallum_ The curse of flicking the switch is a double edged sword in every possible way - from not getting help when desperate to being accused of not caring at all for others, and everything in between that leads to character assassinations from all angles.
