If you are referring to this page in the character book, then that's completely false.

It states that in an interview, Nii-sensei confirms the students do in fact have regular classes, he simply doesn't draw them because it is not important/relevant to the main plot.

i was today years old when i found out that the school fuurin uses to study is a different one from the one we see because that one is an abandoned school they use as a base and that satoru nii revealed it in the guidebook

The furin school we see in the manga IS their actual school, evident by the fact that they have lunch breaks there
