We moved to our new house in 1991. My grandmother made me plant trees & seeds w/ her. I asked her why? She said, "Only fools is only plant grass in they yard!"

Mammy died in 1998.

Today, I picked a handful of snacks from the trees she planted. I'm very grateful. 🥰
