CoinDCX founders (@smtgpt and @neerajKh_ ) were arrested over a ₹71 lakh fraud—but here's the twist: scammers created a fake website using their brand name (@CoinDCX). Someone got scammed → Police arrested the ACTUAL founders.

This isn't about blame. It's about reality:

For Startups:
- Invest heavily in brand protection & verification systems
- Monitor fake sites & URLs impersonating your brand
- Have legal/security protocols ready
- One breach in your system could cost your entire company

For Users:
- Always verify the official website (check domain carefully)
- Scammers are clever—fake sites look identical
- If something feels off, it probably is
- Your due diligence is your armor

Court later confirmed: Founders were impersonated. Scam happened through a fake site, NOT the exchange, but the headline already did the damage.
