"Green Onions" by Booker T and The M.G.S was number 39 on the first UK Singles Chart of 1980 and went on to peak at number 7. Originally released in 1962, it had not been a UK hit until now. It was their second of 2 UK Top 10s & last of 4 Top 40s (first since 1969).

"I'm In The Mood For Dancing" by the Nolan Sisters (later The Nolans) was number 40 in the first UK Singles Chart chart of 1980 and went on to peak at number 3 in February 1980. It was their second of 8 UK Top 40 Singles and first of 3 to reach the Top Ten.
