BREAKING: Corrupt Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is hit with nightmare news as two Democratic senators ask Attorney General Merrick Garland to appoint a special counsel to investigate his tax law violations.

And it gets even better...

"The breadth of the omissions uncovered to date, and the serious possibility of additional tax fraud and false statement violations by Justice Thomas and his associates, warrant the appointment of a Special Counsel to investigate this misconduct," wrote Senators Sheldon Whitehouse and Ron Wyden in a letter to Garland.

They specifically asked him to appoint a special counsel "to investigate possible violations of federal ethics and tax laws."

Specifically, the senators drew attention to the numerous unreported luxury trips and gifts that Thomas has received from billionaire friends. These were blatant bribes and it's high time that he faced the consequences.

The senators also referenced an investigation carried out by Wyden's office that discovered Thomas failed to pay back the principal of $267,230 on a so-called "loan" that was clearly just a bribe. He used the money to buy an RV.

"Justice Thomas failed to clarify whether or why he failed to report hundreds of thousands of dollars in forgiven debt on his federal income tax returns and pay the income taxes owed. We submit that the facts we have developed, combined with strategically evasive answers, creates predication for further investigation by relevant authorities," they wrote in the letter.

"The evidence assembled thus far plainly suggests that Justice Thomas has committed numerous willful violations of federal ethics and false-statement laws and raises significant questions about whether he and his wealthy benefactors have complied with their federal tax obligations," they continued.

"Presented with opportunities to resolve questions about his conduct, Justice Thomas has maintained a suspicious silence," they added.

It's time that these profoundly crooked far-right judges were brought to justice. The Justice Department must act.
