In order to benefit taxpayers, who could not file their returns in time due to technical glitches, the time limit for filing of FORM GSTR-1 of the tax period December 2024, has been extended till 13.01.2025. Further, the time limit for filing of FORM GSTR-1 of the tax period October 2024 to December 2024,for the taxpayers who have opted to pay tax under QRMP Scheme, has been extended till 15.01.2025.

Important Notice: Points to Note Before Filing GSTR-1 of Dec 24
The e-invoice portal was non-functional from 4:00 PM on December 31, 2024, until the morning of January 1, 2025.
As a result, e-invoices generated between the morning of December 31 and 4:00 PM could not be transferred to the GST portal and are not reflecting in GSTR-1 or GSTR-2A.
Before filing GSTR-1, please ensure to manually add these e-invoices to avoid any discrepancies if not updated automatically.
