@jasongoepfert@agnostoxxx 50% positive after one and two weeks, 40% after a month and 60% after a year does not sound too bad I would say 🙂 It is almost like it is 50/50 😀 if you ignore the other time frames
@Xavier_DMercy@AmilkarDuarte@HwsEleutheroi@TaylorRMarshall Brother in Christ, check the writings of Hippolytus (170-235 A.D.) https://t.co/a9XbfdqeBz at 60 and 61 as an example for the earliest interpretation of Revelation 12. Correct me if I am wrong. Yes I saw interpretation by Catholic tehologians which say, Mary and Church together.
@Xavier_DMercy@AmilkarDuarte@HwsEleutheroi@TaylorRMarshall Yes the church prays for Isreal. Amen! It seems even in the Catholic church is not entirely in agreement that in revelation 12 it is Mary. In fact the earliest interpretations of the church fathers did not interpret it do be Mary.
@MDH_UAR@Xavier_DMercy@Thedukeistheman@Bazoonga31 @embeardened If the A-theory of time is wholly refuted, why are there still an aweful lot of research for and against it published? I do not buy it. But I am no expert and would have to dig deep.
@MDH_UAR@Xavier_DMercy@Thedukeistheman@Bazoonga31 @embeardened 1. I would not go so far to say it is prove but it is a good argument.
2. As far as I know experts are evenly divided between A-theory and B-theory. That is what I heard but I am no expert.
@Thedukeistheman@Xavier_DMercy @embeardened @MDH_UAR@Bazoonga31 3 first of all talking about it and you would loose your job, secondly it has to huge philosophical implications which are not acceptable.
@Thedukeistheman@Xavier_DMercy @embeardened @MDH_UAR@Bazoonga31 2. he tells me in his team it is like an Elephant in the room. What they see and how it works cannot happen by evolution. It is not possible, they are like extreme complex machines, one part missing everthing brakes down. But bo one tslkes about it. It cNnot be accepted....
@Thedukeistheman@Xavier_DMercy @embeardened @MDH_UAR@Bazoonga31 Our worldviews are immaterial to the discussion. You should not come to conclusions based on your worldview. That is why I do have much respect to many agnostic/atheist cosomologists who in the end embraced the 'big bang' model despite sayingthat it has philosophical implications
@Thedukeistheman@Xavier_DMercy @embeardened @MDH_UAR@Bazoonga31 Then the universe did not have a beginning which goes contrary to all the scientific evidence we discovered over the past 100 years.
