@pattufreefincal There is a saying in Statistics, if you torture the data enough it will confess everything. Taking a single fund and giving statements doesn't make sense.
@hajiyev_rashad Blindly making charts without any logic is wishful thinking. The correction should take more time. Expect both time & price correction
@Pkjat340@AshishMeher7 Honestly, ₹17,800 cr is impressive 👏
But when you look at Flexi Cap one fund taking months to reach ₹2,500 cr AUM, while Abakkus raised ₹2,468 cr in its NFO itself… that says something.
Irony took a quiet bow today.
Let me point you to the incentive structure, Zerodha earns when you trade.
Close the casino, and the house feels the pinch..
Indian stock exchanges are closed today for Mumbai's municipal elections.
The fact that our exchanges, which have international linkages, are shut down for a local municipal election shows poor planning and a serious lack of appreciation for second-order effects.
As Munger said: "Show me the incentive, and I will show you the outcome."
The holiday exists because no one who matters has any incentive to oppose the market holiday.
It also tells you how far we have to go before global investors take us seriously.
It's been a while, so I want to talk about gold.
Gold is the one asset class that I am bullish on long-term, because it's the only hedge against the exploding Federal debt and Fed monetization. However I sat out this parabolic rally, and I will explain why:
We are told that inflation and central bank money printing is the reason gold went parabolic, however in this 25 year chart we see that gold peaked back in 2011 post-GFC, then it went sideways for 12 years until 2023. This sideways period saw the largest Fed balance sheet expansion in history - from 2011 to 2023, the Fed balance sheet tripled.
However, since 2022 the Fed has been reducing its balance sheet and raised interest rates 17 times, but that is when gold went parabolic. Which makes no sense, EXCEPT as we see, gold is 100% correlated to Nvidia and the AI bubble.
Therefore I will buy gold when the AI bubble explodes and gold returns to being a safe haven against money printing.
I'm in no rush.
@nishkumar1977 Fascinating correlation in cycles 22–25.
But cycles 17–21 don’t fit the pattern at all — even the 1929 crash happened at the solar MAXIMUM.
Do you think maximum phases also influence market stress?
