flight AI 153 on 17th June was cancelled at last minute due to “technical issues” & less than 30% refund has been quoted by managers. They were unwilling to book flights of other airlines to ensure passengers reach on time. Full story below:

Part 3: Air India is denying the refund of Mumbai to Delhi flight citing “you already flew”. To top it all off, the refund quoted to us was less than 30% (20k) of the original amount (64k) meaning Mumbai to Delhi cost was 70% (44k)!!

Part 2: As per their itinerary we reached Delhi. Now at the last moment, they decided to cancel their Delhi to Vienna flight due to technical issues. This disrupted our plans. They also didn’t bother to send an official cancellation email needed for insurance and other purposes.

Part 1: We wanted a flight from Mumbai to Vienna. We booked this through Air India which decided to give us Mumbai to Delhi and Delhi to Vienna itinerary. To note: this was their itinerary as per their convenience and we had no intention to travel to Delhi whatsoever.
