@FBIDirectorKash@TheJusticeDept The PEOPLE care more about the insider trading going on in Congress. Not of some service member that played the system. Go after the real criminals first or this is just a show.
@Pontifex The Vatican itself: ~$10–15B
The global Church: likely hundreds of billions, possibly more depending on how you count property and cultural asset
@Pontifex The total wealth of the Catholic Church is massive—but also very hard to pin down because it’s not a single bank account. It’s a global network of thousands of separate entities (parishes, dioceses, schools, charities, etc.), each owning its own assets.
@Pontifex but those are debated
Why It’s So Hard to Measure
Each diocese operates financially independent
Assets include non-cash items (land, buildings, art)
Many holdings are charitable/non-profit (hospitals, schools)
No single global financial report exists
Bottom Line
@Pontifex for sale.
Global Catholic Church (all properties worldwide):
When you include land, churches, schools, hospitals, and investments:
Estimates often range from $30 billion to hundreds of billions
Some broader estimates (including all global holdings) push into the trillions,
@Pontifex Rough Estimates
Vatican-controlled assets (through the Holy See):
Estimates range around $10–15 billion in financial assets.
Vatican City real estate & art (including the Vatican Museums and priceless works):
Technically invaluable—trillions if ever priced, but not liquid
@mattvanswol It's pretty simple. Most of the GOP is made up of liberal uniparty swamp creatures, who know they can only run as Republicans because of the state they're from, ie Lindsey Graham. Senators are the worse bc they only run every 6 years and only need to act conservative for primary
@bennyjohnson The Big Beautiful Bill didn't help much. Got to stop spending more than brought in, control inflation and get housing prices to achievable level again.
@matt_vanswol The GOP has always been a divided party. The ONLY things Dems have over Republicans is their unity. Even if it's insane beliefs their united in their delusions. You have the conservatives and then the McCain, Graham, Bush nonconservative wing
