As part of our whole school 'Be a Tree' project, Year 2 were inspired to collect fallen twigs from the trees near our field. They had created small tree-like bundles and the children realised that they were creating a small forest - just like in the book.
Today, Year 1 have been listening to “Carnival of the Animals: Aviary” by Camille Saint- Saens. , If the music was describing an animal, what animal would we think of? We had some lovely ideas such as something light and something that flies.
Reception has been making creative apples for our Be a Tree reading project. They had a variety of materials to design their apples including Glitter glue,
paint and tissue paper.
