🎯 Target is selling it for $250 in store. That's the price to beat, if you can find one.

🎮 GameStop: SOLD OUT online at $399. A few stores still have it in person, but it's rare.
I said it before: if you REALLY wanted a 30th UPC, bite the bullet and grab one from GameStop. That $399 is looking like a steal now 👀

Our call: resale is heading to $700+.
And if the Pokémon Center stock counts are right at ~150k of EACH, Day AND Night, that drop is going to be a BLOODBATH 🩸 Notifications on.

📊 ChaseCharts Market Check: Modern FOMO vs Vintage Boom

Two very different markets are happening at the same time right now. Here's what our data says 👇

1️⃣ Modern: the boxes cost more than the cards inside
30th Celebration is the perfect example of FOMO pricing.
• ETB: ~$256 at release → $153 today (-40% in 90 days)
• Booster Bundle: ~$143 → $76 (-46%)
And the chase? Out of 165 cards in the set, only 10 are worth $50+. Take away the two ultra-rare RGB Mews ($6,000 and $3,739) and the best pull in the set is the Mew ex SIR at about $90.
An ETB at $153 is roughly $17 a pack. Unless you hit a Mew RGB, ripping for value is a losing game. Rip for the fun. Buy the singles you actually want.

2️⃣ Prismatic Evolutions: the window might be now
Prismatic sealed has been cooling off:
• ETB: ~$170 (90 days ago) → $134 today
• Booster Bundle: ~$84
• Super-Premium Collection: ~$258
The print run is expected to wrap up within about 6 months. Once a set stops being printed, supply only goes down while collectors keep opening it. That's why a lot of people are quietly stocking up on Prismatic at its lowest price in 3 months.

3️⃣ Vintage is BOOMING 🚀
Median Near Mint price change over the past year, for Pokémon cards worth $20+:
• WOTC era (1999-2003): +70%, and 93% of cards went up
• EX / DP era (2003-2010): +114%, and 96% went up
• 2011-2019: +55%
• Modern (2023+): flat over the last 90 days (-1.5%)

Vintage keeps climbing while modern cools. Fewer cards exist every year, and the collectors who grew up with these sets now have the money.

The takeaway:
Modern sealed is priced on hype, and the chase cards often don't back it up. Older cards keep proving themselves.
