@Budday01 I am hoping that they will at least tone it down with the minigames.
My time with Rebirth has been great but I have never played a game with so many minigames in my life lol.
I have been comparing my experiences FF7 Rebirth and Crimson Desert quite a lot since both games are open world
While Crimson Desert had a lot more content and freedom, FF7 Rebirth keeps me hooked far more due to having way better written characters (which is still prefer OG 7)
I would go as far as to say that i had more fun experimenting with FF7 Rebirth's combat more than I did with Crimson Desert due to more system mechanics and diverse enemies as well.
There is a good chance I will go through CD again due to the recent updates too.
Even with CD's combat (from the release date of when I played), it almost falls apart due to exploring a lot and becoming too OP.
In FF7 Rebirth, I come across challenges and fights that can still kick my ass WHILE 100% all of the side content in every area I visit.
@Zepherl Right now just Star Fox. OoT Remake is on the way.
I also wanna grab Xenoblade games when I get the chance too. I played 1 on the Wii and X on Wii U but I never finished 2. It will be nice playing them all in 60fps.
I had plans on getting a friggin GPU but that ship sailed once I saw the 5080 go up $500 fucking dollars the moment Nvidia stated they were not making anymore 5090s.
So I got a Switch 2 instead.
I don't know what surprises me more: the fact that Slam Tank lets you execute air combos with a fucking tank or that the controls feel surprisingly smooth and responsive.
Yeah, this demo is a lot of fun.
@noqtiscom@Mechmainiac You can go on about how I "don't know what you're talking about", but you're proving to me that you have no actual standards.
I got a good laugh out of this conversation. You go have fun with your projects.
@noqtiscom@Mechmainiac You also don't care about things being functional. You request an output then you pick whatever, not even caring about the actual result.
Clear example: How is this window going to close?
@noqtiscom@Mechmainiac Whatever pipeline that you have works for a game project where you need assets rather than curated work. That's why I refer to AI art, where people are literally relying on AI to get a "good enough" result.
In your case, you always get "good enough" because you don't care.
@noqtiscom@Mechmainiac "you let him do an image, tell him whats wrong with it, let him do the next one."
Roundabout way of saying that "I tell a machine to do something until I get a result", for images. In your case tho, you trained an agent on a style and you pick the first thing that gets made.
