L’Equipe say that Allan Saint-Maximin has agreed to join MLS club Charlotte FC, if he completes this move it will be his TENTH club of his career, so far.

Charlotte's next game is at home to Atlanta United on Wednesday 23rd July and it could be a case of friends reunited, with Miggy Alniron playing for the opposition!

​According to Canal+ in France, Newcastle United and Reims have reached an agreement for the transfer of 20-year-old goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen! 🇫🇷🧤

​Here are the details coming out of France:

​💰 The Fee: Around €28.5 million (approx. £24.6m) including bonuses.

​📝 The Contract: Jaouen has already agreed to personal terms on a four-year contract at St. James' Park.

​⚔️ Beating the Competition: The Magpies have reportedly fought off massive interest from the likes of Chelsea and even Real Madrid to secure his signature.

​This looks set to be our very first official signing of the summer window, and what a statement it is. Standing at 6ft 6in, Jaouen is regarded as one of the most talented young prospects in Europe and has been capped by France at all youth levels.

​With Aaron Ramsdale's loan expiring, Jaouen will likely come straight in as our number two goalkeeper to push and compete with Nick Pope. At just 20 years old, this is a massive building block for the future.

@ManagerTactical Clearly they are cursed because they changed the name from Football to Soccer in the US. If they give in and change the name to Soccer domestically they win the next 2 world cups. Man City SC!
