Just a little reminder that we value the results you deliver each and every day. The laughs, smiles, and courage to conquer new things are right up there with reading complex texts and computational thinking. It all matters. You matter. #RCSproud
Our kids don’t get enough credit these days. RCS had nearly 1,000 students working to raise their ACT scores today. And I’ve gotta say - these kids are so much more than ANY test score but this kind of dedication shows they have great things coming their way! #RCSproud
@BuzzingatBES@BESboroHornets Such an honor to be with all of you. Enjoyed every second. And next time…I’m jumping in and dancing during a brain break 😅
@DrMarkJGonyea@rucoschools 🥹Didn’t know anyone was taking pictures. Learned a lot today - humbled to be in the presence of such amazing students and teachers. “Otter” throw principals in there, too!!! Let’s do it again tomorrow!
@SusanLoveless23 Proud to have you representing @rucoschools at #NCTMLA22. Keep spreading the message to increase positive perspectives toward mathematics!
@MrAaronCulver @KittrellSchool@readtosucceed It was a true pleasure. Thank you for the invite. And for my favorite comment of the day from a 2nd grader: “Know what? We haven’t done math ALL DAY!” 😂 Everyone needs a break every once in a while, right? @SusanLoveless23@epps_season
To all of our @rucoschools teachers - thank you. Thank you for dedicating your intelligence and your time to our kids. Have a restful weekend!#RCSPROUD
Just a note to all the K-3 teachers - stay focused on the potential in front of you today (and every day). Reading is our goal. Increased anxiety over ONE test is not. Oh…and feel free to reach out to your legislators if you are so inclined. Have a great Monday!
In this week's #RCSSundayMessage, Director of Schools Dr. Jimmy Sullivan talks about the new third grade retention law passed by the Tennessee Legislature. Dr. Sullivan discusses what the law means, how RCS is addressing it and tips for parents.

@LHSintheNews@rucoschools Haha. Well, I don’t know if they had fun but I sure did! My heart is full (and my feet are sore) after today. And I can confidently say the future is bright for LHS. Students are bright, creative, resilient, and ready for 2022!
Sometimes you just have to get out and and teach! Heading to @LHSintheNews to teach…(checks notes)…chemistry! 😅 Can’t wait. It’s going to be a great day
Today is a big day - May each and every student leave our classrooms believing in themselves and their potential. It’s going to be a great year! Let’s have some fun!
