@amandacomms@LucyGoBag Enjoyed the discussion-open, honest and all encompassing - I can only align it to climbing into a pair of your comfiest slippers! Thanks both!
@ChSupt_IanDS Glad this was considered at such an early stage through its inclusion on the SCG agenda. Used as one of the comms tools in the box and for the first time βin angerβ!

A few notes on the UK Emergency Alert system, used for the first time yesterday in Plymouthβ¦
π± π¨ π±
It βstayed onβ until we opened the cordon & was sent to phones in a defined area. Any phone that later entered the area was alerted, which explains why some got it later.
It was great to have worked as part of the multi-agency response and now we must identify our learning and use this to inform our future planning. Well done to everyone involved. #multiagencypartners#plymouthcitycouncil
Weβve had feedback a small number didnβt receive the alert, which weβll feedback as part of the debrief.
Some may have turned it off in the settings, and we know some people have turned it back on as a result of yesterday.
@mtthwhgn At some point in the future, Iβm happy to discuss our rationale if that would help - Iβm the Civil Protection Service Manager for Plymouth City Council
@LucyGoBag@emergencymii Congratulations Lucy - couldnβt think of a more deserving candidate! π. Your post nominals must now add up to the complete alphabet π
Surely the sensible approach is for government to address the blockage of the health system-Social care is on its knees and the whole system points to this location as their last destination! Unblock this & the conveyor belt will start to move again! #justsaying
Has anyone received their Module 1 link - not sure who wrote the questions but OMG they need some help with their grammar and having an understanding of our resilience profession would really help!!! #really#plainenglish@LucyGoBag@TheEPS1
