@PMCPune PMC gives  a discount for RWH and encourages CHSes to harvest or recharge. Not sure however what PMC's policies are for the deep foundations that builders nowadays dig, that breaches some of the sub-surface level aquifers...(2)

The water drains into the newly dug foundation and the builder simply pumps the water into the nearest drain. The attached photo is an example. The whole 50+ m pit has standing water of about a foot or more and then it gets pumped out by the builder...(3)

@navalMH @navalMH They had earlier, destroyed these lovely tall 10-12 year old rain trees right at the beginning of the project. Pointing this out to Tree Authority did not result in anything either.

Pristine Builders (Lords Project), Pashan just completely destroyed a 40-50 ft tall tree. With this level of environmental "consciousness" of the builder community, this city is doomed. Till yesterday, birds used to nest in it, a flock of parakeets regularly visited it. Now gone.

@navalMH This burning is a daily affair with households in the slum burning at any time of the night and day, while the shops alongside Pashan-Baner Link road burn garbage after dark - DAILY. All this smoke comes directly into our houses because of the wind direction...(3)

@PMCPune Looks like #PristineBuilders follows the policy the exact opposite of India's "neighourhood first" . For them it is "neighbourhood last". First it was controlled blasting in a dense residential neighbourhood that stopped after PMC complaints. ...(2)

@PMCPune To add insult to injury, they have no dust shrouding anywhere in the conscruction site. Special privileges for #PristineBuilders? Can PMC please insist that sound barriers and dust shrouds be put around the excavation to lessen the noise?

@PMCPune Now, for the past several months, they are using 3 excavators less than 100 m from our windows. These run from 9 to 6. The noise we face is unbearable, where talking to each other requires us to shout, and listening to TV without headphones is impossible...(3)
