Just the one call. A bit Swift like but got that wader twang ๐คทโโ๏ธ listening to the noc flight calls on xeno sounds good @andyshawbirds1@craig_round
A cracking midday hr on netherton hill! Reed warbler singing and showing, green hairstreak thanks to @ChaterTodd and @HikerMartin โฆ then me and Todd have a low osprey over! Toddโs photos ๐
@andyshawbirds1@WestMidBirdClub@pmandrews1973 The Sibe that I picked up on the 6th appears to still be around. Saw the bird in the opposite corner where it immediately stood out. Again silent but same jiz like itโs not used to people.
Where it had started its winter moult around its face 3 weeks ago itโs now moulting breast
Rouzels showing well all afternoon to 16.45. Nice to meet Sparrow Hawk et al from Oxford way and get them on the birds which were a bit skitty at one point with birders circling the paddocks. But patience paid off at a distance
@groughgruff Yes same two birds. Think you put me on the yesterday when I arrived. They certainly looked scruffier yesterday. Wind might have played a part.
