Morning Pointe Senior Living presents a ceremonial check of $10,000 to ChattState Foundation during the First Gen College Student Celebration. In November, all proceeds raised go to the Tom Edd Wilson First in the Family Endowed Scholarship to support first gen college students.
Desiree grew up in a family that tried to instill how important an education was, although neither parent graduated from high school. At forty-seven, she decided to return to school and fulfill her dream of being a social worker.
