AI model access can change for reasons outside your control.
That’s why ChattyBox is built with model portability in mind.
We chose to use an open-source model as it gives us the option to self-host.
Support AI should be reliable, portable, and not locked to a closed provider.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

ChattyBox is live on Product Hunt today. It’s a soft launch while I keep improving the product and getting early feedback. ChattyBox lets you connect your site and add an AI chatbot trained on your own content. Feedback would be really useful:

ChattyBox is now listed on Product Hunt.
It’s a soft launch while I keep improving the product and getting early feedback.
Connect your website, docs, CMS, or help center, then add an AI chatbot that answers questions from your own content.
Feedback welcome.
Finally made an account for ChattyBox.
I’m building a simple AI chatbot for websites, trained on your own content, so visitors can get answers without digging through docs or waiting for support.
Going to share the build, mistakes, and progress here.
