Are we short of solutions, or short of ownership?
Most problems are not ignored because they lack solutions; they persist because we have become comfortable operating around them. Over time, we have built entire ecosystems designed to live with the problem rather than solve it.
A huge, huge part of a founder's job is to simply inject (1) energy / optimism (2) clarity (3) urgency into EVERYTHING they are involved in. Every email, every meeting, every walk & talk, every slack thread, every whatsapp chatter.
@ai@akothari This is my nightmare. We will build plumbing, workflow, and AI tools on top of CRM and other tools. But, I am happy to pay for a good product. I don’t want to own this.
All enterprises should focus on their core business, not on building AI in-house.
For decades, companies have relied on external tools without trying to build them internally because those tools were never part of their core business. AI should be treated in the same way. It is simply another tool that can help businesses run more efficiently.
Trying to bring AI in-house to vibe-code everything like CRM, HRMS, marketing systems, invoicing, and more can easily create operational chaos and may not add meaningful value to business processes.
