Am 30. Mai 2025 fuhr Herr Nguyen Sy Cuong, ein ehemaliges Parlamentsmitglied, mit einem BMW in eine 18-jährige Studentin, wobei ihr beide Beine abgetrennt und ihrem Vater ein Bein gebrochen wurde. Anschließend flüchtete er mit einem Motorrad vom Unfallort.
