@GardaTraffic There really needs to be some digital tacographs for driving hours. Some do Monday to Friday normal hours and practically live in the car then of a weekend

@BobFlavin I had during Covid a girl who cut herself badly with a knife and get her to hospital. Hang around the town while she got stitches. Then drop her back. It didn’t require an ambulance just a calm head and first aid to get her to a&e. Free up a ambulance for smothering serious

@BobFlavin Many moons ago myself and other taxi drivers covered for a ambulance strike. I firmly believe that taxis should be used in non emergency situations to free up ambulance service. I was first aid trained years ago. The call up service should be by HSE app or another taxi app

@SupermacsIRE there was a lad checking some of the older customers in the galway plaza. Couldn’t do enough for them . Made them feel so welcome.
Only complaint the coke at counter and dispensing had no gas. But they were well busy

@ciaranmullooly @ESBGroup @kevinboxermoran My dad was 45 years in the ESB and gave me a great insight into the new power stations in Shannonbridge and Lanesborough. It’s not beyond the technical capabilities of the ESB and its partners to convert this station to gas.
There is a major gas line that passes through Athlone.
