I’m so excited to be part of @Degree’s #BreakingLimits team!! As a black woman in a predominantly white sport, I’m constantly breaking the limits set for me. As a #DegreePartner, I look forward to sharing my full story with you!
Kehlani during her recent Tiny Desk concert:
“Free Palestine. Free Congo. Free Sudan. Free Yemen. Free Hawai’i. Free Guam. Beyond a ceasefire, we need an end to the occupation. It’s deeper than this.”
Balling my eyes out rn. A 17 year old kid just knocked on our front door in East Austin. He asked if he could pull weeds or do other yard work. I love this type of hustle just like the rest of you so of course I agreed.
I stepped outside to chat with him. Life got crazy.
X Fam - Thank you so much for helping Michael (light blue shirt) and his family (Jarren and Makayla).
In light of some of the comments suggesting this is fraud, I've done some diligence to verify their story, which I will share with you below.
I will not ask Michael for a copy of his mom's death certificate. My personal feeling is that this is completely inappropriate to do to a 17 year old who just lost his mother.
Instead, here is what I have done:
Drove by their apartment building and talked to their neighbors who validated their story✅
Met up with them twice today and asked them to provide details separate from one another. Everything checked out ✅
Asked Michael to call a family member who i could speak to with no heads up. Michael's uncle confirmed the exact same details ✅
Talked to my neighbors who also hired Michael and Jarren to work and confirmed they shared the same set of details ✅
I believe Michael and I would not have given him money, food, and drinks if I did not believe his story to be true.
Michael is 17 and does not have a Venmo or cashapp. Michael's sister, Makayla, does.
If you feel inclined to donate to their family, cashapp below 👇

Also, I have now seen a few accounts attempting to impersonate me. I am verified on Twitter. Please watch out for scammers.
