I was in a conversation with a friend once where I was asked what I thought the purpose of life was. I gave my answer, but it caused me to reflect deeper on the things I know to be true.
I know the secret to true happiness. I know the secret to success in anything. I know the reason the stars move at night and why our hearts beat. I know the Grand Architect and He knows me. People ask me how I do the things I do and accomplish somewhat impossible things. It is because I know I am a limitless, eternal son of the Most High - and you are too.
Some people wonder why I choose to be religious or Christian when in today's ever-growing secular society it can be quite unpopular. All I can say is I have experienced things I cannot deny, seen things I cannot begin to describe and felt feelings I cannot question and know are not my own making. The gospel of Jesus Christ is VERY real and it has forever changed my life for the better!
To know that I have a Savior and Brother who LIVES, and who has been there for me - always having my back since the very beginnings of time, who performed a perfect and infinite atonement out of pure love just for me and who truly descended below all things to rescue my rebellious soul, who has become my greatest teacher and best friend means everything to me. I know for myself these things are true.
I know for myself that Jesus is the Christ. He is the divine Son of the Living God, Redeemer and Savior of the world, the Eternal Judge of the souls of men, the Great Shepherd and Anointed One at the right hand of the Father.
He is my Lord and my King. He is my Master and my Friend. He took upon Himself the sins of the world and broke the bands of death. His divine mission allows each of us to become something greater than ourselves. It is a gift that is open to all mankind - both Christian and unbeliever alike.
Because of Him we get restarts, re-try’s, and renewals. We get rebirth, redemption, and resurrection. The chance to change, to become better. We can overcome fear, pain, sickness, sadness, deformity, disability, anxiety, war, hatred, and death. Because of Him we will live again!
There is no denying He is a gift to the world. "He is extolled by Christian, Mohommedan and Jew, by skeptic and infidel, by the world’s greatest poets, philosophers, statesmen, scientists, and historians. Even the profane sinner in the foul sacrilege of his oath acclaims the divine supremacy of Him whose name he desecrates.” (James E. Talmage)
All of mankind has access to the infinite love, atonement, and grace of Christ no matter your situation. Whether conquering an addiction, finding strength during a loss of a child, overcoming depression, the daily grind we each have to go through - whatever the trial may be we are currently undertaking in our lives, Christ is there with His arms outstretched. We need only to reach back and grab hold.
@jesse_k_fox This is how my chapel was all growing up in Utah. Personally I loved how this helped me focus on the sacrament ordinance throughout the meeting.
“Jesus Christ is at the center of this house of the Lord, and so we’re grateful to be here, be part of this dedication,” said President Dieter F. Uchtdorf (@UchtdorfDF), Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, who dedicated the Willamette Valley Oregon Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Springfield, Oregon, on Sunday, June 7, 2026. This is Oregon’s third house of the Lord.
More than 200 Latter-day Saints gathered inside Oregon’s newest temple for the dedication. The sacred event was also broadcast to hundreds of other faithful members at local meetinghouses in the temple district.

In a new video from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Elder Geritt W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles explores “how to hear God’s voice clearly in an age of artificial intelligence (AI), and why that distinction matters more now than ever.”
“Can artificial intelligence replace God?” Elder @GerritWGong asks in the hour-long, gospel workshop video now available on YouTube. “That question may sound provocative, but in an age when we turn to algorithms for answers, guidance and even comfort, it matters deeply.”

Phones, watches, doorbells, cars, factories and energy grids are increasingly becoming connected, all collecting and communicating information to be interpreted, analyzed and acted upon.
Noting this trend, Elder Gerrit W. Gong (@GerritWGong) of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will discuss how to safely navigate artificial intelligence in a 60-minute gospel workshop video titled “Faith, Dignity and Human Flourishing: Hearing God’s Voice in an Age of Artificial Intelligence,” available on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Can artificial intelligence replace God? That question may sound provocative, but in an age when we turn to algorithms for answers, guidance, and even comfort, it matters deeply.
I invite you to join me at https://t.co/DvO30jz9aP on June 7 as we discuss how to hear God's voice in an age of artificial intelligence.
The purpose of making covenants is to draw us closer to our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. We are beloved sons and daughters of God, and He desires that we experience joy in this life. Our covenants can serve as constant reminders of these sacred truths.
Listen to Elder Bednar’s counsel:
Can we please, please, please have more people who sin, and want to improve, come to church and partake of the sacrament?
Even if you feel stuck and you think you’ll never fully overcome it. If there is even a desire to turn toward Christ, the sacrament is for you.
And just so we’re clear… this includes every single person reading this post.
The sacrament isn’t a reward for perfect people, it’s an ordinance to remind us that we all need Christ.
Today, all are invited to come and see the exhibits, statues and experiences featured in the new Temple Square Visitors’ Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The same way that a ten-dollar bill given to me was turned into something with priceless value, our life can be something of eternal value through the sacrifice and Atonement of Jesus Christ.
Watch this milestone delivery in Dallas, Texas, as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints continues supplying thousands of pounds of food to pantries across the United States as part of America250.

This is the first published photograph of the Salt Lake Temple’s Holy of Holies in over 100 years because what happens in the Holy of Holies is so sacred that most Latter-day Saints will never enter it.
Today, my counselors in the First Presidency and I were grateful for the opportunity to visit the Salt Lake Temple, which has been undergoing a significant renovation since 2020.
We look forward to welcoming people from throughout the world during the Salt Lake Temple Celebration and open house, to be held from April through October 2027.
Above all, we look forward to teaching about the sacred purposes of temples throughout the world. In the temple, faithful men and women receive divine instruction, sacred responsibilities, and spiritual power.
It is in the temple that eternal covenants are made that bind us and our families to our Heavenly Father and to one another for eternity.
