Our friend, @TheRascallion , was so pleased when that beloved big horn sheep decided to take a short leave from @BrownellsInc in Iowa and come have some porch time here in Appalachia! They got to jawin', of course, as big horn sheep and rascally raccoons are want to do, and began waxing about how much fun the old standbys can be. The trusty side by side and the sweet .38 special are hard to beat.

Maybe it was the mellifluous tones of a friend or maybe it was that sweet mountain dew but Rascal figured we would bless y'all a little extra this week and and give TWO of you ne'er-do-wells a shot at winning! Okay friends! This time the hold up is not my fault! Rascal's cousin was having to deal with a little riff raff in his backyard while he was out waiting for his grill to update. Rascal new a Glock 43X COA would do the trick for sure so he had to run one over. That got him to thinking one of y'all might need one too!

I've been seeing @TheRascallion moseying around the shop in a 25 gallon hat and I just knew this week would be a wheel gun. Rascal has, for this week's giveaway, a @Ruger_Firearms Vaquero 5.5" in the venerable .45colt chambering! I thought it would be fun to throw in a signed copy of @braxton_mccoy 's The Glass Factory for good measure as I know Mr. McCoy appreciates a good hat himself.

Alright, MFs! Another mean rock thrower is being given away and this time the story is short. Why is that? Well @TheRascallion just refused to elaborate about what, exactly, he'd gotten himself into. All he would say is that the @Springfield_Inc Kuna sure does perform well in a tight spot. The @VortexOptics Crossfire was nuthin' to sniff at either.

So... We are all glad Rascal made it back, from wherever he went and whatever trouble he was in to, and we are DOUBLY glad to have @SummRidge partnering with us on this GIVEAWAY! The good people there got wind of what Rascal had in mind and wanted to chip in so we could give away the Vortex and THREE EXTRA MAGS as well! Today is Gary Plauche Day.
Rascal is a fan of Gary and an even bigger fan of doing right by your children, as well as those who would visit harm upon them, if you know what he means...

Rascal has it on good authority that the revolver used on that eventful day was a Colt snub nose revolver in .38 special. He understands that the gun is on display above a lawyer, DA, or judges fireplace and thus we cannot specifically identify which model. Likely, it was a Colt Detective Special.

In honor of Gary and @jplauche this week's giveaway is a modern Colt Cobra Talo Edition 2" .38 special.

@Kronykal Treating the symptom, not the actual problem. Also, I wonder what the monthly rate per room is and suspect it is more than the apts he wants to rent control. Doing the math of 929M ÷ 10651 rooms ÷ 18 months = $4845/month. Median rent is apparently 3600. Pathetic indeed

Rascal got to talking, as he is want to do, around the fire the other night and he stumbled himself upon a story I had not heard him tell before.

Evidently Rascal was there with Major Eric Bonde in the Congo when that iconic picture was taken in 1961. No one really knows just how old this raccoon is; one of the mysteries of the universe, it would seem.

Speaking of mysteries, Rascal then tells me he carried a CZ75 that day. I told him that is not possible. The CZ75 was not even released until 1975. He just chuckled at me like I was some inexperienced pup 🤷🏽‍♂️...

Regardless of the hows and the whys Rascal was inspired by the memory to make this week's giveaway a CZ75 BD 9mm!
