@Reed_My_Tweets@3RiversSportNet And even then they had no business being in playoffs based on their performance there. They will be objectively worse next year. And the GM isn’t doing anything about it. Wait for another round of Sid’s agent’s public whining.
@Reed_My_Tweets@3RiversSportNet They caught lightning in a bottle with Martha and Kindel. Malkin wanted to earn a contract and had a couple of good months early. And Karlsson had a resurgence year which doesn’t happen two years in a row. And they wont have any of these next year.
@chewker87@TheDanKingerski Do a bit of research. He is committed to college for 27-28. Which means one more year of college after that at least, and a year in the AHL at least
@MikeyMillyinz@TheDanKingerski Because Sidney would have made a boo boo face because of the loss of his favourite pets, that is wingers, and his agent would come out with another interview with threats to trade Sid to another team.
@BremB38356@TheDanKingerski Thanks to that top 5 of all time we're going to be in limbo for who knows how many more years. He wants to "compete", he doesn't let the team get top pick in draft, but when the time really comes to compete (e.g. in playoffs) - he's nowhere to be found and the team flames out.
@TheDanKingerski Tell me one thing Dan: Will he be ok with his team being worse this year than it was last year? What will Sid's agent have to say aboutn that?
@TheDanKingerski And become worse. Wait for Crosby's agent to come out in autumn again with his whining about Pens not being competitive enough and not-so-vaguely hint that Sid might want to get traded.
@JoshYohe_PGH Translation: Penguins won't get better for the next season while other teams are getting better. On the contrary, they will get worse at least by way of Mantha leaving and Malkin and Letang getting one more year older and even more terrible.
@TucoRamirez2766@JoshYohe_PGH It's Sid's fault the team can't start rebuilding. He whines to his agent the team isn't competitive enough, threatens to go to a "better" team but then when push comes to show, e.g. in playoffs, he is nowhere to be found on the scoreboard.
@nhlpens It's weired you seem to be ok with perpetually languishing in mediocrity for who knows how many years until Letang's contract runs out and Sid decides to retire (which could be in 5 years or more for all we know)
