Meal at the classic American dinner Big Daddy's followed by a visit to the Empire State building which offered a stunning view of New York skyline at night. We enjoyed pinpointing all the sites we visited during our stay in the Big Apple.

Lunch at Grand Central Station followed by a extremely interesting and poignant visit to the UN headquarters. Our fantastic guide told us Cheam children were the most intellectual group he'd ever had and asked for the address of Cheam for the education of his own children!

Ferry ride to Liberty Island to see and admire the Statue of Liberty. A great and informative way to start the day! Thank you to the French! :-)

Quick walk through the financial district this morning after an easy ride on the Subway.

Enough walking? Alright then, let's get a limousine to take us to the NBA game! Children treated to a luxurious ride by a very generous parent. Certainly one of the highlights of their time in New York.

Walk to the Intrepid after a quick lunch on the go. Journey back in a yellow cab!

Quick stop by the candy shop before visiting the NBC Studios this morning (no photos or videos allowed unfortunately). Visit to the Rockefeller Center "top of the Rock" for an incredible view of New York City. Blue skies and sun!

What a fantastic way to end the day! Beetlejuice on Broadway! Outstanding actors, singers, stage, story and extremely good fun.

Another long walk to visit the Brooklyn Bridge and a stroll through China Town and Little Italy. Despite our sore little feet we've managed to clock another 16,000 steps! :-O

Emotional start to the day with our visit to the 9/11 Memorial. The children were very respectful. A lot to take in.

Met Museum followed by a very long walk (under the rain :-( ) back to the hotel. Despite the 26, 000 + steps done today, the children did not complain once! Real little troopers! Very proud of them once again!

American Natural History Museum! All very well behaved, as always!

Stroll through Times Square and Central Park on our way to the American Natural History Museum. Tired little ones but soldiering through!!!

And finally, after a long walk to the restaurant, we got rewarded by our first American burger! Great first day for the children who kept in good spirits despite the tiredness. Ready for bed!!
