I think it's more to do with their establishment of an atheist theocracy in 1789 more than any particular form.
The French Revolution likely would've gone in a much more moderate direction if Louis XIV hadn't abolished the Edict of Nantes.
But yes, "universal" values and "human rights", which are actually the result of centuries of developing Christendom, are insane when you try to expand them to cultures that hate Christ.
And universal suffrage is insane.

When I say that women lack the concept of an honorable enemy, this is what I’m talking about.

Obviously a lot of the Democrats’ new vindictiveness is Trump derangement, but the Great Feminization is part of the story, too.

Men understand that the other guy is a professional just like me, and we should have an open fight by fair rules and both go home at the end of the day.

For women, conflict isn’t over until the other side is gone and they never have to talk to them again.

Men believe in hierarchy, so a fight is about establishing dominance within the hierarchy and making the other guy subordinate.

Women don’t, everything is egalitarian and consensus-driven, so if you do get conflict, the only possible outcome is total exclusion from the group.

It makes sense that the Democratic Party is abandoning old-fashioned ideas about honorable conflict as it becomes more dominated by women.

🚨#BREAKING: IT'S HAPPENED AGAIN!!!!!

A mother in Queens has been arrested after she allegedly SUFFOCATED HER 5-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER TO DE*TH.

Her name was Fabiana Cabello, she was 5 years old and about to start KINDERGARTEN.

On Wednesday, just before 7 p.m., police say her mother, 32-year-old Francis Cabello, called 911 saying, "I k*lled my daughter."

Upstairs, in a bedroom, they found little 5 year old Fabiana unconscious with a bruise on her temple.

Officers RAN her out of the house and rushed her to Jamaica Hospital.

She didn’t make it.

The medical examiner found scrapes and BROKEN BLOOD VESSELS around her eyes, her heart and her lungs that suggest asphyxia.

Universal principles are not a substitute for political power because someone has to still decide what the universal principles mean.

You see this all the time when Progressive say they’re in favor of “basic human empathy”, “tolerance”, “inclusion”, or any number of Liberal buzzwords that signal “just being a heckin’ decent human being”.

But what constitutes tolerance or inclusion? Does inclusion apply to religious conservatives who oppose gay marriage or abortion? Does it require letting communists advocate for the abolition of private property?

Does tolerance require allowing nationalist parties to campaign for shutting down the border or outlawing immigration altogether from certain parts of the world? Does tolerance require letting movements that want to replace liberal democracy itself?

Someone has to eventually interpret what constitutes “tolerance” or “inclusion”, and someone also has to decide what actions or views falls under “just having a different opinion” and which ones falls under a criminal act that threatens society itself.

In other words, there is no substitute for decision. And no amount of flowery language about universal principles will ever fully paper over the fact that someone, somewhere, gets to decide what’s allowed and what isn’t.

reminder: you don't need guns to commit mass murder. If you want to prevent mass murder, you need a civilization, not gun control. And you cannot have a civilization without a unifying culture. A multi-cultural civilization is a contradiction in terms.

BREAKING: A driver in a black Chevy Silverado pickup truck has MOWED down at least 13 people on the youth soccer fields at the Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kansas.

Two are feared dead, five are in critical condition, and six others are injured, according to scanner reports by @wichitafireorg.

Wichita Police: “WPD is investigating a mass casualty incident involving a vehicle. There is no further ongoing threat at this time.
