I’ve been wondering lately, for people aged 20–29 in Kenya, what does it really take to own an Audi SQ5 or a Mercedes GLC 300 before 30? Is it years of saving, a solid job, a growing business, smart investments, working abroad, or even taking a loan and betting on yourself? I’d honestly like to hear from anyone who has made it or knows someone who has, what was the real path?
Naambianga Mwanaume the Moment your girl tells you ‘Im pregnant’,stop whatever you are doing and start scheming. Start arming yourself like you’re going to war. Manake hii kitu inaitwa mimba ina swara mingi sana ata kushinda Maasai mara. If you drink, stop! If you gamble, stop! If you do nonsensical road trips, stop. Start saving. Because you will need it. The first thing that happens when your wife gets pregnant is jobs get lost. Wale wa free lancing. Kazi zinapotea nakwambia unashangaa kwani namna gani. Others get fired. The most un anticipated misfortunes you never thought of happen when you have a baby on the way. Kuna spirit ya mimba huwa inawachiliwa huko jehanamu ikuje ikutese ndio mtoto akikuja apate mambo ilichemukia baba yake alipotea. I call it the spirit if Singo mathahood. Chesa!
Once you realize you will die eventually no matter what you do, you will no longer be afraid to live your life. You will never please people again and people's opinions about you will never matter.
Live life. Enjoy. Be happy.
