@cardzNthings_@PSAcard@Steve_Grad Thanks for sending the cert number - added it to CheckCOA.
It is already connected to 5 other sellers in our tracker, all using the same PSA cert.
🚨 SCAM ALERT & 31-DAY EBAY TRACKER 🚨
May 1–31, 2026
CheckCOA logged 3,174 counterfeit / compromised
@eBay listings in just 31 days.
The pattern is clear:
• high-volume scam sellers
• repeated fake or compromised cert numbers
• @beckettcollect , @PSAcard , @JSALOA , @FanaticsCollect and other names targeted
• premium athletes used as bait
• the same certs crossing multiple unrelated sellers
This is not random noise.
It is a marketplace-level fraud pattern.
The most dangerous signal:
one certificate number appearing across multiple sellers and multiple items.
Collectors should not trust a sticker, a COA photo, or an old seller account by itself.
Always check before you buy: https://t.co/9RAVyEHupp 🛡️

Why This Matters
Modern collectors do not own one kind of item anymore.
CheckCOA's job is to make those checks easier to manage in one place, while still showing Fraud Alert warnings when a certificate number is known to be compromised.
You can now add more of your collection to CheckCOA, including the newer hologram formats that require a security code.
Verify before you buy: https://t.co/N7fm1VasgQ
CheckCOA Adds New Fanatics, MLB, and PSA Comics Verification Support
The biggest update is support for newer Fanatics and MLB Authentication hologram formats that require an additional security code from the sticker. PSA Comics support has also been added, so comic collectors can verify PSA-graded comics inside CheckCOA as well.
The goal is simple: collectors should be able to add every kind of certificate in their collection to one verification history, not jump between different sites and formats.
These Checks Can Take Longer
Fanatics and MLB checks are not always instant.
Some provider pages require a challenge step before the record can be fetched. CheckCOA handles that flow, but it can take longer than ordinary PSA, Beckett, JSA, or other lookups.
You do not need to keep the screen open.
Start the check, close the screen if you want, and continue verifying other certificates. The result should appear in your History after roughly 30 seconds.
Update: 53 PSA cert records tied to e4egg are now in the database. Etsy and Bonanza entries are still being added.

The hook is not just the autograph. It is the fake @PSAcard style LOA built around weak no-photo certificate records.🧐
🚨 Weekly Fraud Tracker is LIVE 🚨
Our systems intercepted 210 counterfeit autograph listings in just 7 days. Messi, Mahomes, and Ronaldo are the top targets right now.

Both the BGS and SGC certificates from this report have been added to the CheckCOA database.
Credit to @sgcgrading for their swift response; this certificate has already been deactivated in their registry. While some companies act fast, others often leave compromised records live or never deactivate them at all. CheckCOA keeps these items flagged to ensure you're protected regardless of how the official databases react.

Same @ebay account has another batch of fake @PaniniAmerica Kobe Bryant items, along with two more of those 2018 "1/1's", this time from the other Collectors brands. @PSAcard flagged the previous listing, will @beckettcollect and @sgcgrading do the same?

With CheckCOA you just drop a cert photo or screenshot into the recognition window (or snap it with your phone camera) and wait 15–30 seconds.
We return the official record from JSA/SGC/MLB plus an instant Fraud Alert check against the compromised‑cert database – no manual typing, no captchas, no hunting for the right page.
Start running your own checks at https://t.co/9RAVyEHupp - it takes seconds and could save you thousands.
We’ve just rolled out full support for @JSA, @SGC and @MLB on @CheckCOA.
You can now track and verify even more memorabilia and trading cards in one place – with Fraud Alert checks running in the background on every lookup.
For these providers the lookup can take a few seconds longer - JSA, SGC and MLB all use aggressive anti‑bot challenges on their sites.
But in practice it’s still much faster than doing it manually. With SGC Green label, for example, you’d normally type something like 1295869-144 by hand, then select the grade and enter the player’s name - easily 30 seconds of form‑filling and tab‑switching.
@jaybelleshhb Hey Rob, https://t.co/k2rwIwf927
is up and running normally. We had a DDoS attack earlier today but everything is stable now. If you're seeing any issues, just DM us and we'll check it out right away!
Spot on breakdown. Also, a quick tip: if you run a cert through https://t.co/H9Sy5EFLQe and it hits a Fraud Alert, take a look at the 'Evidence Photos' gallery. You can literally scroll through the fake certificates being passed off by various scammers. As always, verify before you buy!
The hobby has a massive loophole, and scammers are exploiting it for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
@PSAcard@natsturner@BeckettGMColin@beckettcollect it's time to disable basic certification numbers for heavily forged top athletes like Kobe, Jordan, Brady, Ohtani, and LeBron.
Leaving them active only supports fraudsters and allows them to scam buyers using your brand's trust. And keep in mind, this list is just a sample of the reused numbers we’ve caught in the last month alone. We need stronger verification.

As promised, here is the full deep-dive exposure on a high-end counterfeit operation currently active on @eBay .
The fake Michael Jordan @UpperDeckSports jerseys I tested a few days ago were only one example.
Meet direqsportscollectibles.

Based on a sample of ~65 recent high-end sales, the average price is $1,345 per item.
However, this reflects only premium listings. The account shows 409 items sold, including many lower-priced items, so the true lifetime average is lower.
Even with a conservative estimate, the total damage likely exceeds $300,000.
This is not small-scale fraud. 👇
