Her birthday/death anniversary have hit harder since my cancer diagnosis.
Maybe it’s because I now know exactly what she went through, I know the same pain and fear.

We won’t know if it’s the last time until it is.

I’ve been using pretty much the same photos of my mom every year on her birthday.
I don’t really have a lot because she passed when I was so young.
We didn’t exactly take a billion photos with film back then, or preserve it properly…
