#PEP is no longer available at Malta’s national hospital. Three private pharmacies stock it. They are not always open on Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Someone whose condom breaks on Friday in #Malta, runs the risk of #HIV since there is nowhere to buy PEP.
“Talk to your friends or, if you can’t, talk to your HCP. They do listen. This is about life quality.”
Hear Christian @itschrisvincent talk about what he's learned from living with #HIV, including his advice on sharing your status and dealing with stigma.
#HIVHasChanged
There is currently an increase in the rate of transmission of Syphilis in Malta, which like the rest of the world is in the midst of a pandemic. We, together with other NGOs are here in order to support the community in this difficult moment.
With MGRM out of self testing kits, and sudden unannounced and untested changes to GU services in #Malta, there is currently no easy way to get tested for #HIV. We cannot repeat enough our appeal to @chrisfearne to please collaborate with stakeholders.
Do any of the HIV NGOs we follow struggle to boost HIV-related content from their @Facebook pages? The latest boost was rejected because of facebook's "grammar and profanity policy". One of our members had also been banned for sharing information about PrEP

Thank you for sharing your story with us Gabriel. @CheckpointMalta is quickly establishing itself as the voice for people living with #HIV. Speak to them, become a member, offer your help. It is the only way in which quality of life for plHIV in #Malta can improve.
Good that HIV patients should no longer have to rely on others sharing their own medication, but for local authorities to try to blame this disastrous lack of planning on to the EU is unbelievable.
Admit your mistake. Explain how it'll never happen again.
