@MonochromeDoge Not so loud... let me dream.
All I want in my life is a good Jojo game that celebrates all 8 parts in perfect harmony. Perhaps I dream too big... perhaps.
And, of course, the ending. No spoilers here but I feel like the ending of Stone Ocean is going to be one that isn’t necessarily difficult to animate, but my concern mostly centers around how the anime-only community will react to it. That’s all for now, very brief stuff today.
SOME VAGUE JOJO PART 6 SPOILERS IN THIS TWEET THREAD
I finished reading Stone Ocean yesterday and to minimize potential spoilers I just want to briefly say I really enjoyed the story and most of the pacing.
This short thread will list my concerns though.
I think the localization team is going to have a lot of weight on their shoulders. I’m not sure exactly how one of the later arcs will go because it has a lot to do with other intellectual property. We will see though.
King Crimson is not confusing at all when portrayed in anime but the concept of time skipping forward is really not easy to portray in manga since manga is a collection of images with implied time progression between each panel. So a skip and normal time progression look the same

I took so long to actually watch through Part 5 that this account melted away again. Let’s see how long this run lasts. Gonna rewatch Parts 1-5 and read at least Part 6 during quarantine. Jojo hours is the coping mechanism.
