@Oldie2k 2 hrs into hospital & a proper Detox is needed for me to feel normal again. Dont know how to pull constant 24 hrs shift next yr in the same environment.

On hearing this i lost all the focus and kept staring at her blankly realizing immense selflessness of mothers and the incredible gratitude that some patients possess no matter what. It's a beautiful reminder of the strength and love that exists in this world.
While doing examination on female patient who underwent surgery 3 yrs back for ovarian CA, 20 unsuccessful chemo sessions and now suffering with hernia and metastatic spread of the CA in axilla and probably hemorrhoids too all at the same time,
A moment just left me in awe when she said,
"Beta me Cancer se kbi ghabrai nhi.K shaed iski jga mere bcho k hissey ki koi takleef hoti jo mjse dekhi na jati. Ye to phir mere jism ki takleef h.Yeh me seh loon gi."
