@worldcupway@tealcrownse@CRACKSNAPBITE I feel like the reasons they left were different tbf. Ruby has said that she wanted to try something new etc, where ss jordyn has mentioned mental health. I feel like for jordyn in particular the team crossovers were likely a factor.
Other than that though i dont think theyre
@shdwside@snapcrackopop@thisbulletpoint@worldcupway To add to this from the last time she talked about it, doing cheer snd stunting again has actually helped her a bit. The degree of bend has gone down since she started stretching etc again. As long as it’s manageable and isnt likely to cause permanent damage she should be fine
@Cheerteasohot@_wewantcali Idk i feel like itd be fine for a while, but i think travelling multiple times a week for a whole season would get old real quick. Hes probably gonna end up missing some practices for each team, but still thats A LOT of time on a plane/travelling
@Cheerteasohot@_wewantcali I mean the gym fees alone are insane, i cant remember the exact number but they were on the high end for the elite athletes. I imagine thepl rest of the program is similar.
Plus, he’s opening a new gym every year. So hes either raking it in or in stupid amounts of debt.
@APPLEPOlSON Tbh i feel like most level 7 athletes tend to just stick to college teams and dont really do all star. Especially cause the college season can be demanding, the extra time doing all star doesnt really leave you much time to actually do school work or have a non-cheer social life
@itsasharkyear@cheerfanatical Probably been holding onto it for years. Hopefully this means that they start building up their youth program more as well.
@Stanit_black@purpcountry At this point i feel like it has to be orange.
Unless stars have a major comeback year or something. Idk what happening at CA, but the gym is a mess so feel like theyre kinda out at the moment. At least based on the past 2 seasons
@itsasharkyear@tealslipstream That said i dont hate flex, if done right i think itll be great to develop the skill of so many athletes in different ways. I just feel like theres a massive opportunity for gyms to misuse it, either leading to injury or athletes not actually reaching their potential
@itsasharkyear@tealslipstream that is that small when youre basically the same age. Not saying the 5 year old will have all 13 year old bases, but they could technically be more than double the age of their flyer.
Not to mention the strength differences needed to hold up a 10 yr old vs a 5 yr old for example
@purpcountry@raysorangecrush I dont think its that. It’s probably because of her tumbling and flyer spots they have in pyramid. At least if shes on coed shes still gonna be flying etc
