Native representation, sharing my grandfather’s & grandmother’s history. The telling of our Blackfeet history for whom our elders know all too well. Sharing the true story of my great great grandfather & great uncle’s history of traveling to our nation’s capital as western Montana was opened up along with Glacier National Park being established. The Blackfeet Nation Reservation is one of many tribes in America who have their own traditions and languages but we all have one thing in common, preserving our native heritage & traditions. Our ancestors believed in one Creator who created everything and you can ask other tribes and you’ll find their Creator stories as well. We Native Americans have been through everything that was thrown at us but…We are still here today in America🇺🇸with many of us serving in our U.S. Military since 1926 when we became citizens of America with some stories of service during WWI. It all comes down to the good person and the bad person. Our Native history is intertwined with our American history and the opening of the Western U.S., NorthWest for Montana tribes because the SouthWestern tribes have their history of what was happening for them.
